Results of 2011 Council Elections.
We were at the Town Hall until 3am this morning waiting for the results of Council Elections
Results are:
Andy Donelly in Windle 246 Votes - Ahead of LDs
Carla Hay in Rainford 255 Votes - Also Ahead of LDs
Will Fitzpatrick in West Park 224 Votes - Ahead of BNP and only 20 Votes behind LDs
Francis Williams in Eccleston 336 Votes - Over 8% of Total
Overall 1061 Votes and 7.5% of Total.
A solid start for our first concerted effort at the Council. These are results we think we can build on. Our first meeting to celebrate the results and discuss the way forward will be 7.30pm at the Old England pub on Corporation Street on Monday 9th May.
